Euro gained after the centrist candidate won the first round of the French presidential election, reducing the risk of an anti-establishment shock in the final round.The French vote come ahead of an ECB policy meeting on Thursday, at which the central bank’s ultra-easy stance is set to remain unchanged. The euro area flash composite output index rose unexpectedly to 56.7 in April from 56.4 in March, survey results from IHS Markit showed.
